Our Company
Sopra Banking Software is a world leader in banking software. The company was born in 2012 as the merger of Sopra Group’s banking software unit, Callataÿ & Wouters and Delta Informatique.
The company has three complementary businesses:
- the development and sale of our banking software packages;
- conducting projects for the implementation of our designed solutions;
- the support and on-site servicing.
We also have a large Research & Development department, whose mission is to prepare the company's solutions of the future.
Our People
Sopra Banking Software’s greatest strength is its team of consultants who are renowned for their proficiency in the IT and banking domains. Our employees form a closely-knit and dynamic team.
Main profiles within our company are Masters in Engineering. In addition to that, we also employ many Masters in IT & Sciences. Other types of Masters are also present as well as Bachelors in IT.
Our Solutions
Sopra Banking Software provides a consistent, comprehensive offering across markets and regions – the Sopra Banking Suite.
Our solutions are designed for retail banks, direct banks as well as private banks.
We can provide complete end-to-end as well as specific coverage. The Sopra Banking Suite can be implemented directly as a fully integrated core banking system, or an ‘à la carte’ basis that only installs modules as needed.
Your Recruitment
Our expectations during the recruitment procedure are high. We choose our candidates for their intellectual rigour, their ability to discern both the essentials and the details, and their desire for perfection. Of course, the motivation to evolve in the IT banking industry is important. Similarly, our selection criteria include a fluency in English. Other languages are an asset.
Our Training Program
Sopra Banking Software has its own training center: the Sopra Banking University. Its mission is twofold: it seeks to provide high-quality training for the internal and external customers who develop and use our products, but also it is an essential component within our people development model. Therefore, on top of trainings related to our products, the employees have access to a broad catalogue of hard and soft skills courses, including Financial Markets, Job specific training, Management, Languages,… Last but not least, all new recruits benefit from a three-week induction program in order to prepare for their future projects.
Our Work Atmosphere
Sopra Banking Software offers many opportunities for communication, knowledge sharing and contact between employees. In particular, we organise inter-project work meetings, research seminars, cocktail receptions as well as sporting and festive events. These are all occasions for members of the company to get together and exchange ideas and get to know each other.
