Primary Responsibilities
- Regional Management:
- IT coordination for medium/large projects
- Ensure a complete coordination including local and external teams
- Follow up of project budget and forecasting.
- Ensure a proper release management and smooth promotion in production. Verify and apply SDLC methodology.
- Functional Management: Lux teams lead management and remote management for external teams involved in projects.
Other Responsibilities
Relationships & Communication:
- Ensure a complete reporting for the IT Workstream in the global program
- Reports issues and risks on project and participate to the presentation of the project watch.
- Coordinate all internals , externals teams and providers for delivering projects
- Collaboration with OPS, Client solutions for project delivery.
- Direct contact with client for analysis, scoping exercise and negotiation.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time on budget within the agreed scope.
- Ensure that project deliverables are consistent regarding client needs and are reliable solutions for our company.
- Negotiate with client on the scope and key deliverables.
- Follow and track budget spent.
- Keep align the project and the Pmf SDLC methodology
- Convince and obtain commitments from his stakeholders to ensure that people will do what the project expects within the timeframe
- Manage virtual teams inside projects Change
- Manage changes related to project including BAU impact, organizational impacts
- Ensure a proper support is in place before go live
- Drives to Succeed
- Good knowledge of the current IT architecture
- Good leadership to manage virtual teams
- Good technical knowledge on IT infrastructure (DataCenter, SAN, NAS, Machines, Network, MQ, J2EE servers, tooling...)
- Good knowledge of application migration from legacy to new infrastructure (replatforming, rehosting)
- Assertively and capacity to negotiate internally and externally
Daily Responsibilities:
- IT Project Management skills of highly technical
- Ability to speak the technical language of the software developers and IT infrastructure system administrators
Nice-to-have Skills
- IT Support experience
- PMI/PMP or Prince 2 certification
- Mutual Funds Business Knowledge
- Good knowledge of application migration from legacy to new infrastructure (replatforming, rehosting)
- IT Infrastructure knowledge (Unix/AIX/Linux, Network TCP/IP Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Oracle/MS SQL/Sybase Databases, MQ/WebSphere Application Server middlewares, SAN/NAS Storage technologies)
Soft Skills
- Good relationship skills to partner with Application development leaders and Vendors
- Influence skills to drive the team and partners to reach outcomes
- Leadership skills to manage the project team
- Languages: English/French
