Hays - Head of Global Project Delivery

For our division in Bascharage, Luxembourg we hiring now : Head of Global Project Delivery

 

You will be accountable, leading and having full responsibility of delivery of Programs/Projects with all involved internal and external parties. You will ensure Enterprise and customer/business driven solution delivery across regions/globally based on industry standards, Agile best practices and ensuring internal standards are being adhered to. You will drive business changes and technology innovation, sets and/or requests budgets, as well as manage the Program Managers under Global Project Delivery and provide governance of delivery processes and methodology. 

 

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the Program Delivery Team for all Programs / Projects ensuring Delivery Methodology and strategy is followed as per standard
  • Provide Governance in terms of Program/Project health (Budget, Time, Quality)
  • Manage the PMO (Project Management Office) to provide structured process and methodology to deliver Program/Projects
  • Ensure continuous alignment and rationalization with Corporate and business roadmap
  • Evaluate/Monitor Solution Delivery performance of the team with all involved internal and external service delivery parties and establish mitigations to resolve service quality / contractual related issues
  • Build, maintain, and enhance trusted and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders as well as IT suppliers at strategic and tactical level
  • Continuously adapt, adopt, and improve organization's IT capabilities to ensure availability of latest IT technologies, and solutions relevant for IT Solution Delivery

 

Your experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Management or Computer Science
  • At least 7 years of managerial experience of complex and large IT programs and working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong delivery management and relationship management skills
  • Excellent awareness of commercial commitments and liabilities
  • Leadership, negotiation, delegation and influencing skills are key to this role
  • Ability to overcome challenges in remote and dispersed working such as overseas locations, cultural differences, split time-zones to ensure positive interactions
  • Knowledge of and experience with identifying business need and requirements that will be used to draft a contract and negotiate contract conditions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • Business thinking to understand & ensure delivery of customer benefit & value
  • Fluent in English
