We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to strengthen our team within the scope of a large-scale transformation program. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in translating business needs into effective technical solutions, while serving as a key link between business stakeholders and development teams.
Your responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews with business users (municipalities, internal services, etc.)
- Analyze and document existing processes ("As-is") and design target processes ("To-be") using BPMN, UML, ArchiMate, and Visual Paradigm
- Translate business needs into clear, structured functional specifications
- Assess the impact and feasibility of proposed solutions in collaboration with technical teams
- Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of requirements
- Define and validate acceptance criteria, and support test teams in scenario definition and defect analysis (Azure DevOps)
- Contribute to backlog creation and prioritization with the Project Manager, using tools like GitLab or Monday.com
- Ensure deliverables align with expressed business needs
Required experience
- Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst on information system projects (ERP rewrites, migrations, etc.)
- Strong background in workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in Agile/Scrum with CI/CD tools (GitLab)
- Expertise in Visual Paradigm (BPMN, UML, ArchiMate)
- Previous public sector experience is an asset
Technical skills:
- Requirement gathering (interviews, workshops, observations)
- Process modeling with BPMN, UML, ArchiMate
- Writing functional specifications (User Stories, Use Cases, Business Rules)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Prince2, PMBOK
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Finance, population management)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
- Knowledge of Togaf/Prometa frameworks and MicroServices architecture is a plus
Candidates should demonstrate expertise ranging from Base (1+ year), Standard (3+ years), Professional (5+ years) up to Expert level (10+ years) depending on the scope of skills and responsibilities.
