You will join a team working on the development of an application designed to monitor and detect fraudulent companies. After a successful proof of concept (PoC), the project is now moving into a nationwide rollout.
An appropriate architecture has been set up, several data sources are already accessible, and an initial dashboard has been created to showcase the first results. The processed data can also be leveraged for other internal applications.
The project team consists of an internal Project Manager, a data engineer, and two external experts: a Data Architect and a Python developer. Knowledge transfer sessions are foreseen to ensure a smooth onboarding.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Business analysis: identifying end-user needs and requirements, while ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
- Developing advanced reports and dashboards, including complex calculations and data structures within the Data Warehouse.
- Automating data delivery and refresh in the final product (mainly Power BI, but also a JavaScript-based application).
- Designing solutions that are user-friendly and understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
- Working in a structured way to ensure maintainability and scalability, while keeping flexibility for local configurations (templates, parameters, etc.).
- Using APIs to provide data to applications or other development teams.
- Exploring new opportunities with the available data sources.
