A leading European financial institution providing a wide range of banking and investment services. The organization is seeking a medior-level Application Support Specialist to join its IT team and ensure the stability and efficiency of critical banking applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 support for Temenos T24 (Transact) and related banking applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot incidents using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Collaborate with business support teams, IT delivery teams, and global incident managers to resolve issues.
- Ensure proper escalation and handover of incidents to Level 3 support when required.
- Maintain and update support documentation and knowledge base for continuous improvement.
- Support change management processes and participate in release coordination activities.
Qualifications and skills
- 2-5 years of experience in Application Support, ideally within a regulated financial environment.
- Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 (Transact), including modules like AA, Reporting, and Payments.
- Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux, and basic scripting for troubleshooting and automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks (certification is a plus).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (French, German) are an advantage.
