We are currently looking for an Application Cloud Architect to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
The position is hybrid, with the possibility to work remotely, but the candidate should be located within approximately 2 hours of Brussels.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
- Data analysis and data modelling.
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers.
- Production of software architecture documents.
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
- Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.
- Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components
Technical skills:
- Robust back-end application development like Python or Java developer with Python experience (at least 6 years of experience)
- ETL workflows for batch and streaming processing, document ingestion and parsing of multiple formats, such as PDF, Docx and HTML (at least 6 years of experience)
- SQL RDBMS or equivalent like PostgreSQL or MySQL (at least 4 years of experience)
- RESTful API design principles, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, async endpoint development, streaming endpoints, production grade logging/monitoring (at least 4 years of experience)
- Azure Functions, Azure AI Search, Azure Blob storage (at least 1 year of experience)
- Vector databases and semantic search technologies, such as embedding models, hybrid search algorithms, indexing and reranking techniques (at least 1 year of experience)
