As Network Security Engineer you will be a key element of the department, strong of his 30 collaborators based on 3 countries, supporting the infrastructures: Network, Storage, Backup, Virtualization & IT Room Facilities. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, and operating Network Security (NS) infrastructure.
Tasks
- Ensure the integrity of high availability NS infrastructure to provide maximum performance for the users.
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and identify NS related problems
- Participate in team collaboration to share engineering efforts, technical challenges, and breakthroughs
- Work with vendors and team members to troubleshoot issues related to the operations (Problem management) Profile:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in NS technologies
- Acts as a subject matter expert and expertly articulates solutions through written or verbal methods
- In-depth demonstrable skills in system and functional analysis and problem diagnostic, capability of producing high quality specification and documentation
- Demonstrated ability for good communication (oral and written) to all levels of the organization
- English is mandatory and French would be a great asset.
- Resistance to stress, work on major incidents and participate to reviews (post-mortem)
- Candidates for this position should be willing to perform shift work rotation (2 shifts from 7am to 8pm and participate in 24/7 on call rotation
Technical skills
- CCNA Enterprise, Cisco Technologies or equivalent knowledge
- Firewall and application layer GateWay
- VPN and remote access architectures
- Authentication systems and protocols
- Security systems management and administration
- Access List Cisco
- Encryption techniques and protocols
- Network traffic segregation (VLAN, VRF, MPLS, trunking, ...)
- One or several of the following technologies / certifications is a bonus:
- Cisco (ASA and ISE), Cisco AnyConnect VPN
- CheckPoint (CCSA)
- Fortinet (NSE 4 or more)
- RSA technologies
