Join us as a System Administrator
Are you passionate about infrastructure, reliability, and security? At Cronos Europa, we're looking for a talented System Administrator (full-onsite position). You will play a vital role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our infrastructure while working with a driven, collaborative team.
Your responsabilities
As a System Administrator, you will:
- Take ownership of core infrastructure services (e.g., file/print, RDS, hosted applications)
- Provide expert-level (2nd-line) support for complex system and infrastructure issues
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and system software with up-to-date patching
- Monitor infrastructure to guarantee high availability and optimal performance
- Manage and execute configuration and change management activities
- Handle incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis for system problems
- Diagnose Hardware/software issues, coordinating with central IT when needed
- Support capacity planning, system automation, and IT security initiatives
- Collaborate with hosting and database teams to ensure seamless operations
- Create and manage scripts and system configurations to improve efficiency
- Oversee backup and recovery procedures for critical systems
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design improvements
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for internal use
- Enforce IT security policies and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in project meetings and actively contribute to team initiatives
Technical skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Solid knowledge of backup/Storage technologies and network administration
- Experience in Oracle environments and related systems
- Proficiency in applying ITIL processes or similar IT service methodologies
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; French is a an asset
