CTG IT Solutions is currently looking for a User experience Expert within the European Institutions in Luxembourg.
As a User experience Expert, you will contribute to the redesign and evolution of critical information systems within a major international environment.
You will take part in the continued development of strategic Oracle/Java platforms ensuring that sensitive information and processes are properly managed, secured, and aligned with regulatory obligations.
You will act as a key interface between business stakeholders, technical teams and project management, ensuring that user needs are understood, formalised, validated and translated into functional specifications and prototypes.
Your responsabilities
Business & functional analysis:
- Perform enterprise analysis to align project objectives with the organisation's strategic IT landscape.
- Collect, structure and trace business and information requirements through documentation review and stakeholder interviews.
- Produce detailed functional specifications, use cases, requirements models and architecture inputs.
- Conduct business cases, impact analyses, and interoperability studies.
User-centred design & UX contribution:
- Propose, design and validate mock-ups aligned with identified business processes and risks.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, participatory design and conversational design sessions.
- Prepare and run user research (qualitative & quantitative) to shape product evolution.
Project coordination & support:
- Assist project managers in preparing vision documents and structuring documentation.
- Participate in user groups and steering committees; produce meeting minutes.
- Act as backup Project Manager for small projects.
- Evaluate solutions against business objectives and support acceptance phases.
Your profile
Education & certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science and 15 years of experience.
- Mandatory certifications: User centred design and Usability and accessibility standards.
- Optional certifications: Participatory design (design sprints, visual conversation), Agile and Research techniques.
Key skills:
- Excellent command of requirements elicitation, functional modelling, UML, data modelling and DWH environments.
- Strong experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, UML, Agile and RUP methods.
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation, manage workshops, and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven capacity to integrate into international teams and handle large, multi-project environments.
