We are looking for a Level 2/3 Cybersecurity Consultant with strong expertise in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) support to join a high-stakes security program in 2025. This is a deliverable-based engagement, with structured weekly sprints and defined priorities.
Clearance Required: NATO Secret or equivalent.
Key responsibilities
- Central Administration of Firewalls
- Deploy and onboard NGFW devices
- Apply system/threat updates and maintain backups
- Monitor performance logs and automate routine tasks
- Firewall Configuration
- Implement and tune Firewall rules and policies
- Adjust configurations based on evolving operational needs
- ITSM Support
- Handle incidents and requests under strict SLAs (4h for standard, 1h for critical)
- Provide multi-channel user support and escalate as needed
- Documentation
- Maintain weekly updates on Firewall systems and changes
- Optional Weekend Support available on demand (additional compensation)
Ideal profile
- Hands-on experience with NGFW platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
- Solid understanding of network security principles
- Proficient with ITSM tools and ticketing systems
- Skilled in scripting and automation for system admin tasks
- Able to work independently and document processes clearly
- Security clearance (NATO Secret or equivalent) is mandatory
