At ABAKUS IT Solutions, we are currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead and coordinate the cybersecurity program for one of our strategic public sector clients in Wallonia. As a Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring initiatives to strengthen the security posture, aligned with the Cyber Fundamentals framework (CCB) and the goal of achieving NIS2 certification.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the cybersecurity roadmap (1-year and 3-year plans)
- Lead the preparation for NIS2 certification: define objectives, planning, and approach
- Coordinate cross-functional security projects and ensure integration into the IT ecosystem
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with NIS1, NIS2, GDPR, and ISO 27001
- Organize and lead cybersecurity governance (steering committees, dashboards, KPIs)
- Promote a security culture and train IT and business teams on best practices
- Produce key deliverables: risk management plans, compliance documentation, cadastre of security measures
Your profile
- Proven experience in cybersecurity program management
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Fundamentals (CCB) and NIS2
- Expertise in risk management, GDPR, and ISO 27001
- Ability to produce structured, actionable compliance documentation
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with professional English
