Data Architect - BI expert (SAP BO to Power BI migration)
We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect with a strong technical and functional background in Business Intelligence environments. The ideal consultant will be responsible for supporting a large-scale reporting migration and must demonstrate the following competencies:
Technical skills
- In-depth expertise with SAP Business Objects 4.3 (universe design, reporting structure)
- Mastery of Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and automated reporting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including:

- SSIS (Integration Services)
- SSRS (Reporting Services)
- SSAS (Analysis Services)
- Experience with Data Warehouse architecture and data modeling
- Skilled in ETL processes, data extraction/transformation/loading, and reporting optimization
- Ability to estimate technical effort, define architecture strategies, and assess tool suitability
Functional & soft skills
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services is a strong asset
- Understanding of data governance and reporting compliance requirements
- Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, business, project management)
- Capable of producing clear, structured documentation and technical deliverables
- Fluent in French (mandatory); English is an asset
- Autonomous, analytical, and results-driven mindset
