As a member of our Elastic Team, you will be responsible for the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Elastic Stack ecosystem.
You will install, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Fleet Agents, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless data integration.
Your role also includes supporting operational teams, providing expertise, and contributing to technical evolutions within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Elastic Stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fleet Agents).
- Integrate new logs and data sources into the Elastic platform.
- Administer the underlying Linux virtual machines and Docker containers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot OS- and network-related issues in Linux environments.
- Perform system updates and upgrades as required.
- Automate operational processes using Ansible.
- Provide regular reporting on jobs and activities performed.
- Offer technical advice, support, and implement improvements or evolutions when needed.
ITIL-Based Project Activities
Incident Management
- Handle incidents according to defined processes.
- Create and manage ServiceNow incident tickets, ensuring resolution within SLA.
Problem Management
- Create Problem records for recurring issues.
- Write and maintain known-error documentation.
Change Management
- Create and present RFCs to the CAB in line with change management policies.
Service Transition
- Support operational teams during handover and transition to BAU activities.
Organisational Skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Capacity to follow and apply ITIL processes (Change, Transition...).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving client needs.
Technical Skills
- Elastic Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fleet Agents.
- Linux systems administration (VMs and Docker environments).
- Network and OS troubleshooting.
- Automation with Ansible.
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts and ServiceNow ticketing.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
