Job summary

 

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medior DevOps Team Member to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our DevOps operations, focusing on Windows, Unix, and Azure server environments. The primary responsibilities include JBoss EAP administration, domain and standalone management, user management, CLI operations, automation, and standardization. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of server technologies, scripting languages, and API integration.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Administer JBoss EAP, including domain and standalone management.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across Windows, Unix, and Azure environments.
  • Utilize CLI for efficient server management tasks.
  • Implement automation processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure standardization of configurations and deployments across various environments.
  • Proficiently manage Tomcat/Apache servers, with additional knowledge of JBoss being advantageous.
  • Handle IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration tasks as required.
  • Build and maintain JSON files for configuration purposes.
  • Manage SSL certificates for secure communication.
  • Support IIS and WebLogic servers as part of the infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Scheduler Open (VTOM) for task scheduling.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as KSH, Bash, and YAML for automation and configuration tasks.
  • Integrate APIs (REST/SOAP) for system interoperability.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Ansible.
  • Utilize Nexus for artifact management and Version Control.
  • Proficiently manage IFS (Integrated File System) as part of server operations.
  • Possess basic knowledge of GIT for Version Control.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with Spanish proficiency considered an asset.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration roles.
  • Strong proficiency in server administration, particularly with JBoss EAP, Tomcat/Apache, and IBM WAS.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as KSH, Bash, and YAML.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible for infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with API integration (REST/SOAP) and SSL management.
  • Basic understanding of Version Control systems, preferably GIT.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with Spanish proficiency considered a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
