The company is located in Luxembourg with 25 to 30 employees. They are currently seeking a Senior Developer/Architect to lead a team of 4 developers. This role combines both technical leadership and team management, with the opportunity to shape and drive the success of their development projects. You will report to the CTO of the company.
Your responsibilities as Software Development Manager - Python
As the leader of the team, you take charge of a team of 4 developers, ensuring smooth project execution, technical coherence, and team development. While you aren't expected to code daily, your architectural expertise and strategic thinking is key to driving innovation and maintaining high standards. You report directly to the CTO and collaborate closely with other departments. You find some missions you have
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 developers, ensuring their growth and productivity
- Manage and prioritise development projects to meet deadlines and business needs
- Oversee the implementation of new features, bug fixes, and system improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and operations
- Ensure code quality and best practices are upheld across the team
- Identify resource needs and help allocate them effectively within the team
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to team members
Required skills
- You have at least 10 years in software development, with a strong foundation in Python and application architecture.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing or mentoring development teams.
- You have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in English (mandatory) and ideally have a good level of French and German.
