ICT Technician

The IT Operation Center team provides comprehensive operational support across systems, networks, and enterprise platforms.

The role integrates monitoring, dispatching, infrastructure operations (Windows, Linux, network), and application support within a unified multidisciplinary team.

The engineer manages incidents, service requests, operational tasks, and problems in alignment with ITIL best practices, ensuring high service availability, adherence to SLAs, and strong customer satisfaction.

The position operates primarily at Level 1 to 1.5 support, with an emphasis on proactive 24/7 monitoring, efficient dispatching, structured troubleshooting, and operational excellence.

 

Soft skills:

  • Customer-oriented communication, particularly via telephone, chat and mail.
  • Strong attention to detail with strict adherence to operational procedures
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles and SLA-driven service delivery
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative and constructive approach.
  • Effective planning, prioritisation, and organisational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Consistent delivery of expected outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
  • Ability to meet individual objectives and performance targets.
  • Confident use of technical knowledge and tools in daily operations.

Technical skills:

  • Basic understanding of computer systems and networks.
  • Familiarity with Windows or Linux environments (at a user/operational level).
  • Comfortable using monitoring and ticketing tools.
  • Awareness of ITIL v4 concepts (incidents, requests, escalations).
  • Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
  • Backup administration (NetBackup)
  • Incident and request handling based on ITIL processes.
  • Use of monitoring tools at both infrastructure and application levels.

Desired:

  • Willingness to learn more about infrastructure operations.
  • Experience in a call centre or IT support environment.
  • Interest in systems, networks, and operational IT.
