Monitor the status, performance, and availability of the ESB infrastructure and services, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Provide support and maintenance for IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), IBM MQ Series, and WSO2 Micro-integrator deployed on Linux OS and IBM MQ.
Perform middleware updates and patches.
Participate in failover and disaster recovery tests.
Automate certain manual processes using Ansible and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Diagnose, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production incidents related to ESB services.
Document the design of integration solutions, configuration, and deployment procedures by creating user guides and technical documentation for developers and platform engineers.
Escalate and coordinate issue resolution with middleware vendor support teams.
Required skills:
- IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- IBM MQ
- Diagnostic and investigation tools: scripting tools (Bash, Python), web service testing tools (SOAP UI, Postman)
- DevOps tools: Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, log aggregators such as Splunk or ELK
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), ideally with 5 years of experience
- Fluent English
Would be a plus:
- IBM Transformation Extender (ITX)
- SWIFT message processing and formats (MT and MX)
- Data transformation development using ACE's built-in capabilities, XSLT, or eSQL
- Development of message flows (MQ, SFTP, SOAP, REST) with IBM ACE
- Authentication and authorization protocols
