We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced, secure, and scalable data ecosystems tailored to the financial services industry.
Missions

Design modern, cloud-native data architectures to support regulatory, operational, and analytics needs in banking and asset management

Recommend and implement suitable data Storage models (relational, NoSQL, data lakes) that support both structured and unstructured data at scale

Develop robust data models and schemas that enhance integration, performance, and accessibility across the enterprise

Partner with business stakeholders, digital teams, and technical leads to understand data requirements and translate them into future-proof architectural solutions

Facilitate alignment between data architecture and strategic business priorities, ensuring a consistent, interoperable data layer across platforms

Lead architecture reviews and design sessions to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions

Implement strong data governance frameworks focusing on data quality, stewardship, classification, and retention

Ensure alignment with data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) including robust access controls, encryption, and auditability

Maintain metadata repositories, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation to support transparency and compliance initiatives

Design efficient data ingestion, transformation, and distribution processes using APIs, data streams, and modern pipeline frameworks

Implement and tune ETL/ELT workflows to support both real-time and batch processing use cases, including predictive analytics and automation

Promote reusable, modular data components and streaming capabilities for future scalability

Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proofs of concept to assess their fit for financial data processing, AI enablement, and operational efficiency

Drive continuous performance tuning of data platforms, including indexing strategies, workload optimization, and Storage management

Make strategic recommendations on cloud data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and integration approaches based on business objectives
Profile
-
Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field

8+ years of experience in data architecture or database design, preferably within the banking, wealth management, or insurance sectors

Demonstrated ability to architect and scale complex data systems that support regulatory reporting, risk analysis, and AI/ML-driven insights

Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Elasticsearch

In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-native data services
-
Strong grasp of data integration frameworks, API-based data exchange, and event-driven architecture patterns

Expertise in managing ETL/ELT pipelines, including real-time data processing for analytics and AI enablement

Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards, with the ability to translate them into secure architectural patterns

Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders

Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
