We are looking for experienced Squad Leads to contribute to the delivery of strategic lending initiatives. These projects are built on Azure Cloud using containerized architectures, Java/Spring Boot, and React technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact teams, drive technical transformation, and shape the future of digital lending platforms in a hybrid working environment.
Missions:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic lending projects deployed on Azure Cloud using containerized architectures.
- Own delivery accountability across all squad workstreams and applications, from technical architecture and Kanban flow management to production deployment.
- Coordinate cross-application dependencies and drive technical migration and platform transformation initiatives.
- Act as the primary interface between the squad, the Head of Unit, and senior management, ensuring transparent communication on progress, risks, and delivery status.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and QA Leads to align priorities and support informed decision-making.
- Coach and mentor team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of long-term projects (1-2 years+) within the Software Engineering Enablement and Innovation unit.
Profile:
- Proven experience as a Squad Lead, Team Lead, or Technical Lead in software engineering environments.
- Strong hands-on background in Java / Spring Boot and/or JavaScript / React development.
- Solid experience working in Agile and Kanban environments, including WIP management, flow optimization, and delivery metrics.
- Demonstrated success in leading technical migrations, platform modernization, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, containerized deployments, and release management processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business-oriented messages and risk assessments.
- Strong ownership mindset with a track record of delivering outcomes and driving accountability across teams.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
