Position: IT Operations Specialist T24- Core Systems Support
As part of the Core IT Operations unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of critical system processes and data flows across various platforms, including applications and databases. Your role will involve overseeing operational workflows, managing deployments, and maintaining both production and testing environments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee smooth running of processes and interfaces
- Manage end-of-day processing and ensure successful completion
- Support and maintain production and testing environments
- Deploy software components (artefacts) and updates across environments
- Monitor automated tasks and scheduled operations, resolving issues as they arise
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement improvements
- Handle incident and service request resolution in line with internal procedures and SLAs
- Perform initial diagnostics and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and service activities
- Execute routine operational checklists and ensure compliance
- Generate and deliver operational performance reports (KPIs) to management
Required skills and experience
- Proficiency in Linux systems and Shell scripting
- Familiarity with Temenos Transact (T24) and Automic (UC4) job scheduling tools
- Exposure to other Temenos solutions (e.g., Insight, Triple A) is a plus
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and JBoss application server is advantageous
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, when necessary
