Deutsche Börse Group - Physical Access Control Specialist

Physical Security at Deutsche Börse Group (Dbg) is Embedded within the Department of Group Security and ensures the mitigation of operational risks for all physical assets, including staff and buildings. As part of our team, you will take a decisive role in physical access control to mitigate the risk of unauthorized physical access to Dbg premises and secured areas. The daily balance between operational tasks and strategic thinking offers you a wide range of opportunities to strengthen your security management expertise and foster your problem-solving and communication skills.

We are looking for a hands-on Physical Access Control Specialist in the access control domain with excellent process-related thinking and a strong team spirit who can demonstrate a proven track record of understanding physical access control in its corporate complexity.

 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Creation, maintenance, and revocation of physical access rights profiles and corresponding physical access models. 
  • Ensure the follow-up of system escalation and the development of the security management system. 
  • Process documentation of the working product Physical Access Control and the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of access control processes. 
  • Installation, change and configuration of electronical components. 
  • Monitoring of access control Temaservers worldwide and electronical configuration of these terminals. 
  • Ensure a timely response to incidents and crisis, including on-call duty. 
  • Key Management. 
  • Ensure close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Human Resources, Logical Access Control, Internal Audit, Compliance, etc.
  • Evaluation and implementation of new technologies, for automation and digitization to achieve the improvement of entire processes and/or individual process steps.

 

Your profile

  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Profound knowledge in Edp, SAP (S4H/CRM7), Jira and IIQ. 
  • Experience in process documentation and optimization is desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in the physical access control domain considered as an asset.
  • An independent and structured working approach with an approachable mindset.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
  • High proficiency in English and German. French would be an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS 365, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and SharePoint, is required.
