🎯 Mission overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and evolution of Reverse Proxy solutions within a major European institution. You will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, aligning technical solutions with business needs, and ensuring the security and performance of network access layers.
🔧 Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for Reverse Proxy services
- Act as the main interface between business stakeholders, security teams, and technical teams
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog in alignment with institutional goals
- Ensure compliance with security policies and network architecture standards
- Coordinate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure high availability and resilience
- Monitor performance, incidents, and propose continuous improvements
- Lead workshops, write user stories, and validate deliverables
🧠 Required skills & experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in IT infrastructure or network security
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, reverse proxy technologies (e.g., NGINX, HAProxy, F5, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of security principles, including authentication, encryption, and access control
- Experience working in agile environments and with DevOps teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- EU citizenship is mandatory due to security clearance requirements
💼 Nice to have
- Experience in public sector or institutional environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based reverse proxy solutions (e.g., Azure Front Door, AWS CloudFront)
- Certifications such as PSPO, Scrum Product Owner, or network/security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP)
