Project Manager with expertise in portfolio and architecture

We are currently looking for a "Project Manager" to strengthen the Cronos Europa team

Location: Near-site (accessible within 2 hours from Brussels) - Remote work possible

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.

  • Propose project strategies at the architecture/technical level, including planning, task definition, deliverables review, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reporting, problem reporting, and follow-up.

  • Integrate project and program strategies to ensure alignment with business strategies, drivers, and management priorities.

  • Coordinate the architecture community for technical analysis and architecture process implementation in line with Architecture Board decisions and organizational strategies.

  • Facilitate architecture meetings (e.g., architecture board, project meetings, architecture communities) with focus on consensus-building, decision clarity, and stakeholder management.

  • Coach and mentor teams, promoting architecture value rather than control, and identify ways to optimize costs and rationalize the IT portfolio.

  • Guide teams in charge of project activities and review their deliverables.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to create business, technical, solution, and data architecture models aligned with organizational strategies and goals.

  • Provide solution architecture guidance.

Technical Skills:

  • At least 7 years of expertise in project management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Financial Modelling, Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Tracking).

  • At least 5 years of experience in Agile methodology, Scrum Management, Lean Agile.

  • At least 3 years of experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman) including business-IT alignment, and in business process modelling and associated tools (ArchiMate, UML, BPMN).

  • At least 3 years of experience with enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS, Enterprise Architect, and knowledge of Confluence and Jira.

  • Knowledge of Cloud Architecture (AWS, MS Azure).

  • Risk assessment, modelling, and graphical representations.

  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner, or PM2.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English is required; French is a strong asset.

  • Strong governance, leadership, coordination, and promotion skills.

  • Ability to adapt to unplanned changes and work in a multicultural, international environment.

  • Excellent team player with high degree of discretion and integrity, due to handling sensitive personal and confidential data.
