CTG IT Solutions is currently looking for a Project Portfolio Manager within the European Institutions in Luxembourg.
Your RESPONSABILITIES:
- Manages the project portfolio (~10 projects at a time and team of 1-5 consultants on each project).
- Responsible for planning, resourcing, scheduling, cost forecasting/monitoring and reporting on all aspects of assigned projects.
- Manages offer preparation for all new upcoming projects.
- Manages deadlines and renewal of ongoing projects.
- Supports the client on the definition of project resources and timing.
- Responsible for the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
- Facilitates technical coordination across multiple functional areas.
- Identifies pro-actively, manages and mitigates project risks.
- Direct point of contact with the client (i.e., calls, presentations).
- Manages meetings (kick-off meetings, follow-up meetings, ...) in alignment with the frequency associated on each project.
- Works constructively and collaboratively with the different stakeholders (Management, client, consultants, ...) by requesting concise expectations and by communicating relevant information on a regular basis.
Your Profile:
- Previous successful experience as a Project Manager, ideally in an IT environment.
- Good Knowledge in Project Management practices and proven ability to manage projects (simple or complex).
- Technical, rigorous, curious, and endowed with a strong team spirit and strong leadership, you like to work in project mode.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, self-confident, motivated, ability to build trust with others and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to prioritize work and be an effective problem solver.
- Heavy user of project and knowledge management tools (i.e. Wiki, Sharepoint, MS project, ...).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- ITIL foundation certification mandatory, higher ITIL certifications as an asset.
- Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, CPM...) is a plus.
