We are currently looking for a Senior Test Engineer to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
- Part-time (50%)
- Freelance contract
- Duration of mission: September 2026 - December 2027
- Hybrid (minimum 3 days/week on-site, up to 40% remote)
Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements, user stories, and functional specifications in close collaboration with Business Analysts and solution owners.
- Design, prepare, maintain, and execute manual test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Execute test cycles, analyse results, report defects, and validate fixes.
- Prepare and maintain test data, test documentation, and test reports.
- Support release activities and go/no-go decisions.
- Contribute to system integration testing and hypercare phases.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external service providers.
- Review and challenge test scripts and test data delivered by suppliers.
- Ensure the overall quality and stability of business-critical applications.
Technical Skills
- 7 years of experience
- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proven experience in test design and test execution within cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
- Ability to document, analyse, and troubleshoot issues.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
- Experience with enterprise software packages.
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience in the financial sector and/or fund industry is considered a strong asset.
