We are looking for an IT Resiliency Engineer to strengthen our multidisciplinary IT Continuity team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the organization's ability to react effectively to critical application or DataCenter failures. You will work closely with various stakeholders and contribute to the integration of resiliency standards and best practices within the IT landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the delivery and validation of key resiliency documents, including Application Impact Analysis (Aia), Continuity Run Books (CRB), Disaster Recovery (DR) Unitary Exercise documentation, and address any identified gaps.
- Act as the primary contact for multiple IT teams on all resiliency-related topics.
- Maintain regular follow-up with application and infrastructure teams on changes impacting resiliency deliverables and progress on Aia, CRB, and DR exercises.
- Contribute to transversal Disaster Recovery exercises by:
- Validating Crbs and assessing readiness.
- Conducting capacity studies for infrastructure components across datacenters.
- Preparing, planning, and coordinating exercises in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Building the Master Run Book (Mrb) to consolidate all actions required.
- Facilitating execution of DR exercises, including during scheduled out-of-hours events.
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a resiliency engineer, or in related roles such as Security Engineer, operations engineer, or architect.
- Strong knowledge of resiliency concepts, with the ability to explain expectations and challenges to stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Solid understanding of IT processes, procedures, and architecture diagrams, with the ability to validate them from a resiliency perspective.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux, Mainframe.
- Cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructures.
- Databases, Middleware, and application development environments.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, or security-related practices.
