IT Systems Administrator Level 3 (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Level 3 IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This position is responsible for responding, prioritizing, and coordinating resolution of service requests and incidents for our employees located in Hosingen and abroad. Most frequently, you will be based in proximity to the user to build relationship through face-to-face interactions and onsite assistance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain software and hardware applications, providing Level 1 customer service and interfacing with all staff, in office and production areas
  • Maintain communication and ownership throughout life cycle of the service request/incident
  • Monitoring help desk tickets, maintaining knowledge, researching for most recent program updates, providing technical support, testing new software and monitoring security breaches
  • Take overall responsibility of incident/service request transferred from other teams
  • Create knowledge base articles and provide updates whenever necessary
  • Support continuous improvement of ITSM processes
  • On-site infrastructure and workplace support services
  • Coordination of IT purchases and IT inventory management
  • User training, including documentation
  • Provide remote support to regional managers, sales, and VIPs
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with other members of IT department
  • Interface with external providers on technical issues like printers, telephony systems, security systems, etc.
  • Recommend new and existing solutions, which involve enhancing applications/systems functionality, features and repairs
  • Project support as necessary
  • After hours support and maintenance as necessary

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience

 

Experience:

  • Network and Security experience preferred

  • Well organized person who can manage several open issues while working on projects
  • Eagerness to continuously learn new skills, processes, technologies and products
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to adjust to the technical level of the audience and explain complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Ensure and develop relationship with customers, stakeholders with high level of satisfaction
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, fast-growth environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Flexibility and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures and suggest improvements

 

Technical Knowledge:

  • Experience with Cisco Meraki Security Appliances and Switches, VLAN, WLAN and Cloud Server Systems
  • Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft, SIEM, and Anti-virus solutions
  • Working knowledge of IT Hardware and Software, Microsoft OS, MS Windows, applications and tools
  • Basic knowledge about ticketing system
  • ITIL Certification is a plus
  • Languages: Fluent English, with a good command of French or German is considered as an asset
