Your responsabilities
- Administration and maintain Unix/Linux servers in production, test, and development environments.
- Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Unix operating systems.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability.
- Perform system hardening according to security standards.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication mechanisms.
- Implement automation using shell scripting and configuration management tools.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Investigate incidents and resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in on-call support and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams on infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in French and good level in English. Knowledge of German or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
- Required technical skills : Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu Server, Bash, Shell, Python, Ansible, VMware, SAN Storage, Backup solutions, DNS, DHCP, Nagios, Centreon, Zabbix.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure scripting.
- Experience working within ITIL environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
