We are looking for a Junior System Engineering Specialist to join our team and provide support across a wide range of infrastructure, virtualization, and physical security systems. This operational role is a great opportunity for a junior profile eager to develop skills in critical and complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support ranging from desktops to servers, SAN hardware/software farms, and complex platforms.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain virtual environments (VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon).
- Administer Linux and Windows servers, backup/restore solutions (VEEAM, StoreOnce), and blade/composable infrastructures.
- Manage storage systems (SAN, CEPH, vSAN) and OCP platforms in DevOps mode with supporting tools (Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible, Kafka).
- Execute and troubleshoot Ansible and PowerShell scripts.
- Manage PKI certificates, monitoring solutions (Nagios, Splunk), and Oracle infrastructures (EXADATA, ZDRLA).
- Administer mail servers/relays (postfix), antivirus/antispam, and centralized software deployments.
- Participate in the administration and lifecycle management of physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control, IDS, Fire Alarm Systems).
- Contribute to system integration, proactive monitoring, compliance, and disaster recovery of IT and physical security environments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent, min. 3 years after secondary school).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT or system administration.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of hardware management (racking, cabling, firmware upgrades).
- Familiarity with VMware (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon), Oracle hardware, RedHat & Windows OS.
- Understanding of Active Directory/LDAP, Keycloak, NAS, and centralized IT security policy management.
- Experience with backup/storage solutions (VEEAM, StoreOnce, SAN, CEPH).
- Scripting skills (Ansible, PowerShell) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Nagios, Splunk).
- Basic knowledge of databases (MS SQL, Oracle, ElasticSearch).
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITIL V3 processes (incident, change, capacity, configuration).
Nice-to-have
- Interest or experience in physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control, IDS, Fire Alarm Systems).
- Knowledge of IT integration and DevOps automation tools.
- Awareness of security and regulatory compliance.
