Alter Domus - Application Support Engineer

For our office in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an Application Support Engineer.

The Role

 

The successful candidate will focus on providing support to internal stakeholders, on several applications, including in-house made.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Support ticket classification
  • Re-prioritization, User clarification
  • Password reset
  • Response to user queries based on known error database
  • Ticket escalation to the next level of support (aka external providers)
  • Issue analysis
  • Identification of bug and the workaround
  • Response to functional queries
  • Understanding & analysis of user requirement for minor enhancements

 

Your Profile

  • You have working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration
  • Working Knowledge of IT Software
  • Able to learn and master employer-specific software
  • Complex problem solving
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose & address application issues
