Alter Domus - IT Technical Engineer

The main tasks and responsabilities are related to the maintenance of the various IT Production environments.



Job Description

  • Deploying and maintaining various internal applications using mostly SQL and IIS technologies;
  • Work closely with development and operational support teams globally to deploy and manage applications;
  • Administration of various SharePoint Farms including Code Deployment, Operations monitoring, upgrading patches, rights granted and PowerShell Scripting;
  • SQL Administration / monitoring (security management, job execution, SSIS deployment) including investigation on errors;
  • Prevent the repetition of issues through root cause analysis and change management;
  • Analyse application and system log files to determine the cause of issue;
  • Logically work through problems to determine their cause and how they can be resolved;
  • Manage service and change requests.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science with 0-3 years of experience in support domain;
  • A first experience in supporting, implementing business applications and IT systems would be an asset;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner in English (French would be an asset);
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities;
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints;
  • Ability to understand the business requirements;
  • Maintains strong attention to details in high-pressure situations.


Specific Knowledge

  • Experience in Windows SQL Server administration & SQL experience is required;
  • Experience in IIS administration and Web services;
  • Experience in SharePoint 2010 / 2013;
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (experience in formal incident, problem and change management).
