We are looking for an “IT Technician (Cabling & DataCenter)” to strengthen the teams within Cronos Europa.
As an IT Technician, you will play a key role within Foundation Services, a team of 35 employees based across 3 countries, supporting IT infrastructures.
Responsibilities
Based in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for:
- Installation and Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and modifying IT infrastructure equipment (switches, routers, security devices, Wi-Fi).
- Technical Documentation: Creating and updating diagrams, technical sheets, and operational procedures related to the IT environment.
- Capacity Planning & Reporting: Monitoring capacities, delivering detailed reports, and proposing improvements.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the reception, installation, connection, relocation, and decommissioning of equipment.
Profile
- At least 3 years of experience managing DataCenter-type infrastructures or large enterprise IT rooms
- Strong analytical and communication skills: ability to effectively analyze and solve problems. Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in French is mandatory; English is an asset
- Autonomy, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
- On-site work at the client's premises in Strasbourg. No remote work possible
Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling
- Solid understanding of network technologies (LAN/WAN) and Wi-Fi
- Proven experience in IT asset inventory management (recording, traceability, CMDB, statistics, and reporting)
