Hays Luxembourg is looking for a BI Consutlant for a bank located in Luxembourg. They need a MicroStrategy Expert. However, if you are competent with PowerBI, DataIKU or even ODI, you could be a match !
It is a 3-month contract that can be extended depending your projects and ideas. You can start as soon as possible and French is mandatory.
Purpose of the role
- You will join the Financial Information Sytems team which works closely with the Finance department of the bank.
- The team is responsible of providing BI solution implementation and expertise on data.
- The team is also responsible to build reports, provide support for projects and to data users of the bank.
- The bank has recently changed its Core Banking System which has an impact on all the processes. In this context, you'll be also helping this transition towards new tools and reports.
Key accountabilities
Help the team of building new financial reports following the migration of the Core Banking System on MicroStrategy (or other similar platforms).
As BI Consultant you're able to:
- Ensure solution design and delivery fits the agreed upon guidelines including functional & technical requirements, performance, security and process.
- Work with Business, find convergent solutions for the bank while communicating them efficiently.
- Respect deadlines and change priorities depending of the context.
- Help the team with challenges encountered while using MicroStrategy Tool. Be at the design level (report creation, cube, ...) but also at semantic level and basic administration.
- You can provide tips, architecture recommendation based on your experience on MicroStrategy topics.
Skills & experience
- 3+ years relevant experience in BI or Data Analysis.
- Experience with MicroStrategy is mandatory (or other similar platforms).
- Master or engineering degree in Computer Science / Data modeling & analysis / Finance
- General knowledge of Finance concept
- General knowledge of banking products
- Good knowledge of BI concepts (Data modeling, Datawarehouse, ...)
- Good knowledge of SQL language
- Interest in new technologies and hot topics BI (Self Service, Data Visualization, Big Data, ...)
- Knowledge of Dataiku is a plus
- Knowledge of T24 Temenos is a plus
- Knowledge of Jira is a plus
