Hays - Business Planner

You administer, regulate and report on the progress, usage, consumption and forecasting of the company's IT and IT project portfolio based on the annual and quarterly planning cycle. You report to the head of the overall delivery of the project.

 

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and governs IT related Business Planning and IT project portfolio in line with the strategic business domain objectives and standards of the organization
  • Design and implement the processes Business planning, Project portfolio management and business Project management to accommodate business change and innovation in an efficient and effective way
  • Develop supporting tools such as business domain specific portfolio dashboards and templates for business cases and project plans
  • Guide involved staff in performing activities in the processes of Business planning, Project portfolio management and Project management
  • Ensure and govern quality, security and compliance assurance on business domain project portfolio level regarding standards, documentation, comprehensiveness and accuracy of the project information (data)
  • Monitor the financial realization and benefit management of business domain specific project portfolio and projects compared to the agreed budget with the business
  • Execute stakeholder management towards business stakeholders for the entire project portfolio
  • Develop aggregated business planning and portfolio reports with respect to the status of programs/projects throughout the annual planning cycle to inform business stakeholders
  • Conduct, prepare and chair portfolio board meetings with business representatives and meetings with project managers and program managers on business priorities, progress and planning

 

Your experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Business Information Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in working in business/IT planning and project portfolio management at a global level
  • Good knowledge of the core business processes domain
  • Expert knowledge of the IT governance discipline
  • Strong leadership skills in managing individuals and teams
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
  • Autonomous problem-solving in very complex connections
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • Fluent in English
