We are looking for a Business Analyst specialized in SEPA payments to support ongoing digital transformation, regulatory compliance projects, and optimization of payment processes within a Bank in Luxembourg.

Missions

Analyze business needs related to SEPA payments (credit transfers, direct debits, Sct, SDD, instant payments, etc.).

Write clear and detailed functional specifications in collaboration with business and IT teams.

Act as the interface between business departments (operations, compliance, Finance) and technical teams.

Contribute to strategic or regulatory projects (e.g. ISO 20022 migration, PSD2, instant payments).

Coordinate functional testing (test plan, test cases, UAT).

Support change management: user training, documentation, post-go-live support.

Monitor regulatory and technical developments around SEPA (via EPC, Ebf, etc.).
Profile
- You hold a bachelor's degree business, Finance, engineering or equivalent
- You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the field of payments
- Strong knowledge of SEPA payment instruments: Sct, SDD, R-transactions, settlement timelines, clearing rules
- Proficiency in ISO 20022 XML messages (pain.001, pain.008, PACS.002, camt.053...).
- Familiarity with banking environment (regulators, local standards, market practices).
- Experience in project management methodologies (Agile).
- Previous experience with payment systems or infrastructures (e.g. SWIFT, T2, EBA Clearing, TIPS) is a strong asset.
- You are fluent in French (mandatory) and have a good command of English
