To support its Security Operations Engineering team,

on of our prestigious customers in Luxembourg is looking for a

Project Manager.



Main Responsibilities

A list of non exhaustive tasks that may evolve in time, also depending on the type of assignment:

  • Definition and maintenance of project plans
  • Definition of strategies and plans of approach
  • Analysis and definition of objectives
  • Definition and management of scope
  • Risk analysis and management
  • Definition of tasks and deliverables
  • Definition of quality plans
  • Definition and management of communication plans
  • Definition of project organisation structures
  • Definition of human and financial resources
  • Project planning
  • Estimation of timescales
  • Definition of procurement requirements
  • Change management
  • Issue and problem management
  • Monitoring of project activities and resource usage
  • Provision of guidance for project team(s)
  • Ensure specification compliance
  • Comply with budgets and delivery times
  • Quality control
  • Reviewing project status and deliverables
  • Organisation of status and progress meetings
  • Participation in functional and technical working groups
  • Reporting on project activities


  • Manage multiple risk assessments and other risk oriented consulting projects in fast-paced environments
  • Provide input to corporate initiatives to establish Security criteria or specifications for Information Security as required
  • Understand business needs and deliver high-quality, prompt, and efficient service


The Ideal Candidate


Specific requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Management of Cyber/Information Security projects and/or programmes
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Management of complex Cyber/Information Security projects and/or programmes
  • Microsoft Project or equivalent is required
  • Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, DNS, Syslog-ng, etc) would be a plus
  • Defence-in-depth Security Architecture would be a plus


  • Prince2, PMI or equivalent is required
  • At least 1 of the following Risk Assessment methodologies: EBIOS,
  • CRAMM, PILAR or equivalent would be a plus


  • At least 1 certification of the type Prince 2, PMI or equivalent (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting EU-I)
  • Holding one of the following Security certification is a clear advantage:
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
    • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
    • or an equivalent certification recognized internationally
  • ITIL Foundation Certification and ITIL Practitioner would be plus


  • Being Security cleared at SECRET UE level or being in a position to become cleared. If the personnel is not yet cleared, the contractor will have to start the process for requesting the Security clearance issued by an EU Member State directly after the signature of the contract and will have to provide evidence;
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-level technical capacity in a large IT environment (infrastructure architecture, design, enterprise support, etc.)
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT Security experience focusing on Security risk assessments and review of technical Security requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience, in a relevant subject, preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study
  • Very good command of English and French (written and spoken);
  • Ability to participate in meetings
  • Articulate communicator, demonstrating mastery of both spoken and written English, with the ability to tailor deliverables appropriately for audiences ranging from technical to senior executive
  • Strong teamwork abilities and team spirit;
  • Potential to develop skills and learn new technologies;
  • Autonomous, good independent problem solving experience;
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to work;
  • Ability to manage parallel tasks;
  • Natural will to report and document accurately during the activities;
  • Demonstrated ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
  • Mature understanding of information Security “best practices” including principles, Security protocols and standards material such as SANS Critical Security Controls
  • Familiarity with business, finance, and management concepts
