About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect capable of designing, aligning, and securing robust, scalable, and enterprise‑compliant technology solutions. The consultant will work closely with project teams, architecture governance bodies, and strategic initiatives to ensure consistent, high‑quality architectural outcomes across the organization.
The mission covers four key areas: Solution Architecture, Architecture Governance, Enterprise Architecture Alignment, and Innovation & AI Engineering.
Mission Scope
1. Solution Architecture for Projects
- Design end‑to‑end solution architectures across application, data, technical, and integration layers.
- Translate business requirements into concrete technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Define non‑functional requirements, including scalability, performance, security, resilience, and compliance.
- Produce architecture documentation such as solution design dossiers, C4 diagrams, integration views, and interface specifications.
- Ensure adherence to architectural principles, guidelines, and recommended patterns.
- Participate in technology selection, evaluating frameworks and architecture patterns (cloud‑native, microservices, API‑first, augmented AI, etc.).
2. Contribution to Architecture Governance
- Actively participate in solution reviews and architecture governance committees.
- Prepare, present, and secure validation of architectural deliverables.
- Contribute to defining and updating architecture principles, standards, guardrails, and reference patterns.
- Integrate cybersecurity, AI, cloud, and sustainability considerations into design decisions.
3. Cross‑Functional Support & Enterprise Architecture Alignment
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure coherence, harmonization, and evolution of the IT landscape.
- Propose evolution paths and strategic trajectories (modernization, rationalization, cloud migration, etc.).
- Contribute to the architecture repository and the Technology Radar.
- Support transversal initiatives and ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture strategy.
4. Innovation & AI Engineering
- Conduct ongoing technology watch on cloud architectures, API‑centric and data‑centric models, and AI engineering practices.
- Assess the value of emerging AI solutions (autonomous agents, RAG, MCP, etc.) for architectural patterns.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Architecture‑as‑a‑Service practice.
