Test Engineer

Job description
To reinforce our teams, we are looking for a Test Engineer!
Join a dynamic team working in the banking sector, taking ownership of end‑to‑end test execution and deployment for Online Banking Solutions deliveries. You'll be pivotal during SIT/FAT phases and user testing, ensuring quality and reliability across all stages.
Your main responsibilities:

Execute and document OBS deliveries from our Software Provider during SIT and FAT phases; support UAT with business teams.

Identify and troubleshoot delivery issues, implement corrective configurations, and take full responsibility for the production deployment process, managing each step efficiently.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering and production to implement improvements and resolve technical issues.

Maintain continuous liaison with Business teams to understand needs and support FAT/UAT phases.

Provide L2 support post‑deployment for any production issues arising from OBS updates.

Work at the intersection of legacy core banking systems and modern test automation methodologies
Job requirements
Your profile:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Ideally 3+ years of experience in test engineering or QA within banking/financial services.

Strong Unix/Linux knowledge (administration, troubleshooting).

Proficient in Shell scripting (bash, ksh).

Solid experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for query, data validation, and troubleshooting.

Test automation experience: tools and frameworks to support regression and integration automation.

Core Banking technologies knowledge is an asset
